There is so much negativity for marriage and family - everywhere. You are right on. What people do is up to them, but they really do need to have the truth - about marriage, about cohabitation, about divorce and divorce and children. You have done that. I would add that while most studies indicate that having children reduces marital satisfaction, I would point out that these studies do not assess overall family satisfaction. As a parent, I'm personally aware of the stresses children bring to marriage. But while children may disrupt some degrees of marital satisfaction, they may contribute to overall family satisfaction. Some parents, though the marriage becomes stressful, are delighted and fulfilled by parenthood. Thank you again. I will keep an eye on your blog.
