GRAPEVINE, Tex. — And on the seventh day, there was no rest for married couples. A week after the Rev. Ed Young challenged husbands and wives among his flock of 20,000 to strengthen their unions through Seven Days of Sex, his advice was — keep it going.
Mr. Young, an author, a television host and the pastor of the evangelical Fellowship Church, issued his call for a week of “congregational copulation” among married couples on Nov. 16, while pacing in front of a large bed. Sometimes he reclined on the paisley coverlet while flipping through a Bible, emphasizing his point that it is time for the church to put God back in the bed.
“Today we’re beginning this sexperiment, seven days of sex,” he said, with his characteristic mix of humor, showmanship and Scripture. “How to move from whining about the economy to whoopee!” Read the rest of this entry

According to a recent study married couples have the most active sex lives, and are also spending more time together. This is great news for couples! Men and women in the study report having sex with their spouse 58 times a year, which is a little more than once a week.
While the media would have you believe that it’s the single life that has it going on, don’t be fooled. While many married couples would like to improve their intimate relationship, it’s good to know that marriage is still the best way to go.

It is evident from this video that standing up for the definition of marriage matters.
No parent wants to be threatened with jail in order to protect their children from being exposed to controversial teachings especially at such a young impressionable age. It’s not everyday that you find a movie that is dedicated to strengthening marriages. Fireproof is just that. It’s got action and drama, love and humor, and intense emotion. It’s awesome. Yet it sends a message that is rarely seen on the big screen that your marriage is worth fighting for, and that the best way to go about it is by including God in the process. Can I just say how infinitely impressed I am with Jordin Sparks, former American Idol winner. Though she has a great voice, it’s not even her singing talent that I’m so impressed with at the moment. It’s her courage and her conviction that has me cheering. She’s got guts! I love it!
As a presenter, Jordin Sparks initially sat through a verbal bashing of promise rings, which she wears, until she’d had quite enough. The MTV Video Music Awards show host was having quite a heyday at the expense of those who actually believe it’s a good idea to save sex for marriage. Read the rest of this entry

Women have incredible sexual potential. Female sexuality has traditionally been minimized, but for the benefit of one’s wholeness, and for the strength of one’s marriage, an awakening of one’s sexuality within marriage becomes vital.
Sexual satisfaction may seem unimportant to the wife who has not yet made it a priority. Nevertheless, sexual development in marriage goes to the heart of one’s wholeness and personal development. It ultimately allows for the ecstasy of mutual enjoyment in marriage. This is God’s intended gift.
In order to empower women to reap the blessings of sexual wholeness and marital oneness, we must know what it is we are working toward. What are the secrets of sexually satisfied wives? If it is our intention to become sexually whole in our marriages, what are the characteristics of a sexually satisfied wife that we too can develop? Read the rest of this entry
